1. Purpose
This policy explains how QnS Academy London handles recordings, screenshots, photographs, testimonials and media content.
2. Lesson Recordings
Some online lessons may be recorded for educational, safeguarding, quality assurance, or student catch-up purposes. Students and parents will be informed where regular recordings are utilized. All such recordings are treated as confidential data handled in strict alignment with our Privacy Policy.
3. Student Recordings and Screenshots
Students, parents, and visitors must not record, screenshot, photograph, or share lessons, teachers, students, group chats, or class materials without explicit written permission. Any unauthorised distribution, recording, or sharing of academy content may result in disciplinary action in accordance with the Online Safety and Acceptable Use Policy, Student and Parent Code of Conduct, Terms and Conditions, and any other applicable academy policies.
4. Images and Testimonials
QnS Academy London will not publish identifiable images, videos, or testimonials of children for promotional or public marketing purposes without appropriate prior consent from a parent or legal guardian. Adult or student testimonials over the age of majority may be used with explicit permission. Where media elements are required as evidence for welfare concerns, the academy's actions are governed strictly by the master Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy.
5. Storage and Sharing
Recordings and media content will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for educational, safeguarding, operational, or legal purposes. Access to educational repositories is limited strictly to enrolled students, authorized parents, active teachers, or administrative staff with a verified operational need.
